This is because, in addition to downloading and uploading files, it also allows you to view and modify folder structures. The FTP server offers two ways to upload or download files. With a normal FTP server, it is only possible to continue by entering a user name or password. For this purpose it is important to have authorized access to the server. The anonymous FTP server offers public access to certain areas on the server computer. Here no access authorization is necessary. If, however, you are asked for a user name and password, you can enter the user name anonymous and any combination of characters to log in.
