Firefox appeared in 2000 as a result of the Mozilla project. It is considered one of the most popular web browsers that is used worldwide. With its free access, it offers users the opportunity to browse the Internet. In the history of the Firefox web browser, one development has become clearly visible: at that time, it was fixed Internet functions that made up Firefox. This was regulated by a small memory footprint, which in turn enabled a faster program start. Today, it is independent, individual components that define Firefox. One of these components is the new e-mail function, which can be found under the name Thunderbird. With the help of the so-called Add-Ons, i.e. extensions, it is possible to perform an installation for certain options of extensions. With these installations, functions can be invoked that are not normally found in the Firefox web browser.
