The Hummingbird algorithm has been in existence since 2013 and has made it possible to better interpret complex search queries in order to deliver suitable search results. A connection is derived between the words in the entered search. Hummingbird thus works with the ranking of search queries, documents and authorities. The introduction of the Hummingbird algorithm is often referred to as Google’s revolution. Already at the time of its introduction, about 90% of all search queries were influenced by Google Hummingbird. Before that, Hummingbird had already been actively in effect unofficially for a month.
