Often the competitors the customer mentions are not the ones we seek. We focus on websites listed in Google’s TOP 5 results for search terms and keywords that match our client’s products or services. We exclude informative sites like Wikipedia.
If these are actual competitors, we use established analysis methods to determine why Google assigns a high relevance to these websites and thus ranks them well.
As a result, we can identify specific tasks that can improve our client’s websites to be more appealing to search engines.
