Search engine Google is currently testing a new feature that could make their news overview even more practical in the future. Google has plans to show users more than one article for each headline.
Nicholas McDonough, Twitter user and SEO expert, noticed this new mobile search result feature and shared a video about it on his Twitter account. So, for example, if you enter a search term in Google, various headlines on the desired topic will be shown. Then, as before, a matching article is displayed under each headline. The new feature only becomes visible when the “News” view is expanded. After clicking on the diagonal arrows in the right corner of the upper area of the screen, several related articles from different news sources are listed under the headlines.
So, for those who regularly read the news, this feature will be particularly handy when dealing with headlines from various sources. After sufficient testing, it should soon be known whether Google will make this feature permanent or not.
